I updated LibreOffice a few days ago. Tried to open program today and up came: Libre Office 5.1 - Fatal Error, followed by: (“file:///C:program%20Files%20(x86)/LibreOffice%205/program/types.rdb:no such file”).
Help please, treat me gently, I’m elderly with only basic skills!

First try Uninstall LibreOffice using windows, control panel, Programs and features. Then reinstall.
If you need more detailed steps please let us know in comments which version of windows you are using.
