I’m having lag issues on libreoffice on both gentoo and windows 7. In both cases it seems to be random as to why it starts doing it, it doesn’t always initially lag while typing. How do I fix this?

Never give a version ‘latest’, and what is your hardware (CPU, GPU, motherboard, RAM maker and size) ?

i5-2430M processor, 8gb ram, intel integrated graphics card, asus u56e-bbl6 laptop
Try disabling OpenGL and OpenCL.
If that doesn’t help, upgrade to 5.1.1 or 5.1.2.2 aka 5.1.2 RC2.
