When I first began using LibreOffice, upon starting Writer, I was presented with a screen that showed my recent documents as thumbnails, which I felt was very useful. I recently updated to version 6.1.2.1 (x64) and this recent documents screen has disappeared. What happened to it? How can I get it back?
When you start Writer, start center is never shown - LibreOffice creates a new Writer document right away. That was always that way.
Start center is shown at launch when you use generic LibreOffice shortcut/command: 
or soffice without switches like --writer, nor swriter.
