Running Libre office 5 on ubuntu 17.10 and I seem to be stuck with an old version of Microsoft windows look. I have just put ubuntu 17.1 on an old laptop and it has Libre office 5 on it but is not the same though they are both exactly the same version numbers. This does not have the old Microsoft look and is much nicer.
When I go to tools Preferences in the laptop version I have a select box in the general tab that allows me to select open/save dialogs so unchecking this uses the ubuntu file system for opening and saving much much better than the Libreoffice dialogs! But in my desktop that option does not exist? What is going on and how do I get the old ubuntu/Linux style back and get rid of the Libreoffice dialogs.
Sorted by uninstalling and installing LibreOffice 6
