… typing lag in documents in version 7?
In all documents (even new ones) or in existing documents having images?
Does it happen occasionally? Other processes might be running: Windows silently installing updates in the background are particularly intrusive, email program synchronizing or doing compacting, many browser windows open can all take processing time from what you’re doing.
Of course, if you have many 20 megapixel images in your document it might slow you down. You can turn off visibility of images in the view menu so you can type or edit without problem. You will see a red rectangle with something like image 1 inside it so you can still see the layout. Cheers, Al
I received a tip. It was only a problem in a document I had before that contained images. Thanks.

Hello,
according to your response: You seem to be hit by bug tdf#138068 - When there are a lot of pictures, typing the text is very slow
(don’t take the phrase “a lot of pictures” in the bug title seriously, during the course of bug thread it turns out that there a general issues with images handling)
