How do I indent a quote in the main text?

If the quote is in a separate paragraph, which it must be if you want to indent it, then click in the paragraph and then, in the sidebar under Styles, double click Block Quotation paragraph style.
If the indentation or other aspects of the style don’t suit, then right click the Block Quotation paragraph style, select Edit style and make the relevant changes.
Note, for quotations within a paragraph, select the words, and double click the Character style Quotation
