I want to move the paragraph icon to where I can see it in the toolbar (its way too far off to side) How do I do that? Tried everything it seems!
@gabix come on. You’re better than that. 75% of the questions asked here could be answered like that.
I’d say, 95%. That’s sad.
@gabix yeah, but that’s not the point of this site, is it? Otherwise the URL would be https://rtfm.libreoffice.org (or it would just point to https://help.libreoffice.org)! PEACE!
The point of this site, as I see it, is to give answers to good questions. Otherwise, this site makes no sense at all.
I’m sorry you think it’s not a “good” question but we are not all as advanced as you. . I’d already taken the steps sugested. This just moved the parapgraph icon to the top of the paragraph pull down menu, it did not move it on the menu bar. The visible icon that is on the menu bar is not showing up on the commands list. I am using Windows 7, Libre Office Version: 6.2.5.2 (x64)
Describe in every possible detail which exactly steps were taken.
Hello @terrynewsletters, welcome to the Group.
In LibreOffice Toolbars are fully configurable, until you create a fully customizable one.
This Toolbar can be either for LibreOffice General or only on the worksheet where it was created.
Post an image of the problem (cloud and post the link), it’s easier to help.

Gilberto, thank you. I finally managed to find the command and make the changes. I knew it had to be customizable. Always simple when you know how!
So hod did you move the buttons around? This thread still has no answer, just a lot of noise.
- Right-click on the toolbar and select Customise.
- In the dialogue that opens select the Toolbars tab (should already be selected). The toolbar you clicked should be selected in Target, if not select it from the drop-down list.
- Find the icon you want to move in the pane labelled Assigned Commands. Click on it and then use the arrows to move it up or down. Alternatively, click and hold and then drag it up or down to where you want
- OK
NB if it is the Formatting Marks it can be easier to just click Ctrl+F10 to toggle visibility
