How do I pull from same cells on a separate tab when cells on separate tab are sorted

using excel 2010

Simple + calculations in cells on tab2 pulling from tab1. When I sort rows in tab1, I want the + formulas in tab2 to pull from the same row regardless of where sorted row now is located on tab1. i.e.: If cell was in row 1 prior to sort and is now in row 5, I want the + calculation to now pull from row 5.
