How do I _really_ enable Thesaurus?

I’m using a 7.6 nightly for a couple of weeks ago, with:
VCL: gtk3 Locale: he-IL (en_IL); UI: en-US

and with both RTL-CTL and Asian languages enabled, and I’m trying to enable the Thesaurus. So, I visit Tools | Options | Languages | Writing Aids - and the thesaurus for English seems to be enabled. But - it’s not working, i.e. I don’t see anything thesaurus-related on the menus or in the context menu for a word.

How can I actually enable the thesaurus?

I don’t actually know what is the component set in nightlies, but it could be, that there’s simply no thesaurus there…

  1. The Writing Aids section of the prefs suggests that there is.
  2. Then shouldn’t I see the Thesaurus menu item grayed out?

Likely. At least, in my testing, setting text language to Latin makes it grey.

… and now that I look again, it’s actually there and I just missed it. So I retract my part (2.) of the previous reply. We still have part (1.).
