I have recently begun using LibreOffice to escape from Microsoft’s forced-AI stuff. Please forgive me if I use the wrong terminology.
I am trying to set up a dropdown list for certain cells in my spreadsheet. In the range of cells I have specified, I have formatting (background fill colours). I’d like when I select an option from the dropdown, for those colours to show up as well as the text (so I can colour-code visually for ease of use without having to go through two steps each time). Currently, it only shows the text. How do I get it to also show the formatting of the original cell?
I am using Data → Validity → Criteria Allow cell range.
