How do I retrieve my unsaved documents, my LibreOffice has changed everything - help!!

Are these documents in the memory now?
Or how do you mean the “unsaved” state? Is there a saved version and you tried to edit is now?

What has been changed by the LO? The content? The formatting properties?

Can you upload ODF type sample files, or screenshots here?
Can you give us some more details about your problem?

I don’t know where they are. Some of the formatting properties have seemed to change.
I don’t know what ODF files are, I am NOT techy at all. Sorry.
The documents were open in my Libre Office and now I can’t find them.

YOU MUST know, where your documents have been saved.

Open LibreOfice Writer.

Go to menu:

Tools>Options>Libreoffice>Paths

and learn where is Bakcups Directory

Open this directory from file manager and find your document.

If you could’t see your file, you could try data recovery to this directory.

  2. At least one save operation performed
