How do I set a background colour for the background of page headers in Writer?

I’ve created a document in Writer.

I want to have a global page header that has a particular background color.

How do I set the background colour?

In you new doc, click the header section, that will display a box like this.

Click that plus sign and it will add a header.

Now you should notice the plus sign is replaced with a down arrow, click that to open a menu.

Select “Border and Background” to set that background color.

Make sure to select the Area tab and the Color section.
