I can’t believe I have to ask this question. I’ve been all over the Help section. I find how to use a formula for SQRT, but nothing that tells me how to square a number or term in a formula. I tried the Microsoft equivalent (**)and got an error message. I then looked in the list of operators and in the formula section and found nothing.
You have to enter in the cell: “=x^2” ( without the "). You can replace the 2 with any number, e.g. X^0.5 equal SQRT(X).
Have fun!!
Can’t you just multiply it by itself? That’s the definition of “squaring”. x * x. Is that not what you’re trying to do?
