How do i *TURN* *OFF* numbered lists in Libre Writer?

I’d like to start a paragraph with the number 1, and decide for myself whether I want it inset. Thanks.

The default for that setting is off; best to find out what settings do before enabling them.

Click Tools > AutoCorrect > AutoCorrect Options. In the dialog that opens select the Options tab and untick Bulleted and numbered lists. Bullet symbol •, OK. Cheers, Al
