How do I use LibreOffice? Downloaded but keep getting message "This architecture is not supported on this system." I own a Mac

Downloaded LibreOffice 4.1.2 (I have successfully downloaded and used this wonderful app in the past) on my new Mac hard drive, but when I dragged Libre Office into Applications folder, continually get message “This architecture does not support this program.” Also downloaded IWorks 06 to have word-processing program on hard drive. Still no go. Please help.

Make sure that you have downloaded the correct version for your OS and architecture.
