Hi I have added an input box to a previous form and its changed colour,
how do I change the colour,
Also on top of that how do I change the text on the left-hand side of the boxes?

Again the properties of the control come into effect. On the General tab it is Background color. You can use the ellipsis to help select the wanted color.
It appears that your form was created using the wizard. When this is done, the text control and a label control (the text) are grouped together. You can select one or the other separately by holding down the Ctrl key when clicking on it or by using the Form Navigator. The text is again on the properties dialog as Label.
