How do you set the hyperlink's styling in Impress?

In LO Writer, we have a character style named “Internet Link”; and when some text is linkified, it is given that style.

In Impress, however, we don’t yet have character styles (that is bug 40871). So, where is the character style applied to hyperlinks controlled from?

Note: Naturally, we can apply direct formatting to a link after it’s been created; I want to control the styling LO itself applies to hyperlinks when they are created.

I just tested this with a normal text field.
The text of a hyperlink in the text field can be customized like normal text with the direct formatting.
But apparently there is no distinction between unvisited and visited link.

With me:

Version: 7.4.1.2 (x64) / LibreOffice Community
Build ID: 3c58a8f3a960df8bc8fd77b461821e42c061c5f0
CPU threads: 8; OS: Windows 10.0 Build 19044; UI render: Skia/Raster; VCL: win
Locale: de-DE (de_DE); UI: de-DE
Calc: CL

I want to change the default, not a specific link, so that at least all of my next links get the formatting I set.

The bug tdf#40871 you are involved in is still on “NEW”.
You can only hope that some developer will have mercy and take care of this problem.
Your reasoning in Comment 20 on Bugzilla is IMHO very coherent.
Maybe you can write an addendum there and thus refresh the bug.
If no developer takes care of this problem, you can hire someone or try to join the development team yourself. Good luck.
