Silly NewBee question - I have LibreOffice installed on my win11 computer and the white box icon shows on taskbar. When I need to open something, I open it and select all my nice previous files and open one. But if I want to open another one (have two open same time) clicking on the white icon does not bring up the boxes with all the files in it. (just the previous open file)
then you can try to click on the icon with the right mouse-key. Windows should show you the list of recent files then. (This is a Windows-feature, not LibreOffice…)
The @Wanderer answer, using right-click, will select from Windows recent document list.
.
You can instead, in the open window, click File > Recent Documents and select LibreOffice’s recent documents from there. Note the distinction, there are two recent document lists.
.
24.2 and 24.8 limited the recent documents to the same module; 25.2 has a toggle switch in the Recent Documents list to Current module only so you also can see recent Calc sheets when you are in Writer
