How to add Date acceptance pattern: YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS?

Using LibreOffice Calc v25.8.4.2 on Windows 10 Pro

From main menu, Tools, Options, Languages and Locales, General, Formats, Date acceptance patterns: I’ve been unsuccessful to add this and similar patterns like
YYYY/MM/DD HH:MM:SS

This question comes as I have been trying to paste copied values like 2018/11/30 15:36:30 into one cell and 2018/11/30 11:45:00 into another to produce in a third cell, their difference; e.g., 03:51:30

Thank you for any help.

Yes, thank you for that link which I had previously read; however, time apparently isn’t considered.

The work around, which I just finished doing, was to manually enter each date and time with the MM/DD/YYYY HH:MM:SS format in a single cell. Doing so the values are correctly recognized by Calc allowing for calculating their differences.

as the name says, its a date acceptance pattern, but not a time acceptance pattern.

in a quick test I’ve extend my patterns with Y/M/D … copied 2018/11/30 15:36:30 … and paste it into Calc with ctrl+v done!
