I am trying to figure out how to add prices for a my restaurant menu without using text boxes for every item.
The prices should be placed on the right where the yellow box is.
Any articles regarding this would be greatly appreciated, i looked online but could not find anything useful.

Don’t use text boxes. They’ll cause more problems than helping you.
Create a dedicated paragraph style with either a right-aligned tab stop at right or a decimal separator tab stop where you want the separator aligned.
Type your item, then Tab, then the price.
This answer is intentionally concise as you didn’t provide minimal information, i.e. OS name, LO version and save format. In addition a screenshot is generally useless, even less when View>Formatting Marks is not enabled. What do you know about styles?
