Hi,
I’m working on LibreOffice 4.2.8.2.
Is there any option to manipulate the colours of diagrams in LibreOffice Calc?
I always get colourful diagrams - nice, but I need them in grayscale due to printing limitations.
Cheers,
Jürgen

Double click on the chart
> right click on first series
> Format Data Series
. In the tab Area
of the dialog window, choose the Fill
color among gray 1 …. gray 10.
If this helps then please tick the answer ()
I am working with libreoffice 5.2.2 and this option is no longer valid. Well it is, but no matter which colours you choose, calc will use default colour palette. Is there any workaround in order not to change all diagrams’ palettes?
I checked this in LibreOffice 5.1.4.2. Here it works in a slightly different way - but works: after double-clicking the chart (or the the line of a graph), you can open the dialogue window “Data Series” with a right-click of your mouse. It pops up with two register cards. Choose “Line” where you can alter the style and the colour.
Hi
My advice would be to keep colored diagrams and use the printer properties to print in grayscale. To do this, File
Print
, General
tab and click the Properties
button. All printers provide this option (including programs like PdfCreator).
Otherwise, it is possible to change the default color sets (for new charts): Tools
