How to change the name of a data series in the chart legend?

I’ve built a simple chart in Calc with two data series which appear in the chart as lines, and in the Legend as “Running Total” and “Running Average”.

I’d like to change the name of the data as it appears in the Legend, so that instead of “Running Total” it reads “Amassed Total”.

I’ve looked through the documentation but have been unable to find any way to edit the words as they appear in the Legend once the chart has been created. Can anyone point the way?

If the sourve of the names is the Data Range (the first row of it) the you can modify the names in the Data Range cells. It will refresh on the chart too.

Thank you, this was the solution; The top of the data range was in a hidden cell, and “First Row as Label” was checked.
