How to combine table with image and generate figure caption

I need to combine a table and an image (with the image on top) and then insert a caption that will be considered a figure caption.

What is the best way to do this?

Here is what I tried: I inserted the image in the top row of the table, then enclosed the table with a frame. The problem is that when I inserted a caption, it said “Text 1” and I need to it be “Figure 1”.

I would appreciate if someone could tell me a good strategy to accomplish what I want.

Thanks to the Open Office forum for helping to come up with a solution. It now seems obvious and relatively easy. Hooray for open-source problem solving!

To help others trying to do this, here is what I did:

1. Insert the image in the top row of the table (use merge cells)
2. Select the table, then go to Insert > Frame
3. Right-click and select Insert Caption
4. Choose Figure for the category (this may not be necessary for other people but I need all of the graphics to be figures)
