You tagged base which means you have a problem with the datatabase interface component Base. As I was intrigued by the tag for the question, I opened it. Apparently, it has nothing to do with databases. It seems to be about Writer. Consequently, retag as writer. Thus your question will draw attention of Writer specialists.
That said, you request Writer to translate some foreign proprietary format. Don’t expect exact results. Use the original application (Word) to export to PDF.
If you created the document with Writer, why did you save as .docx? You always lose information when saving in foreign format.
Edit your question to improve it:
- OS name and LO version
- attach the “subfile” or a sample of it
- how did you “include” it (which menu command did you use?)? It looks like an OLE link which is probably not the best way to do it.
Please, don’t add a comment to answer these questions. Edit it. A question should be complete and self-sufficient to spare readers the pain to build a synthesis from a set of comments.
