I have this number → 786.98769 and when I paste it from other text I get 786.98

I can’t reproduce your problem. Is there something special about where you are copying from and/or pasting to??
Maybe pasting in a cell formatted with two decimal values.

Unlikely - unless OP didn’t pay attention to correctness, and invented the sample when writing, instead of carefully copying what actually happened in the program. Because rounding would turn 786.98769 into 786.99, not 786.98…
