I’m new to Libre. How do you create a new file. I’ve clicked on File, but can’t find the tag that says New
Where do you click on “File”? You have started LibreOffice? The in the menu File the first item is “New”.
A new file isn’t necessary. When you first save, you’ll be prompted to give a directory/file name. Remember also that you need not finish before performing the first save. Perhaps make that initial save after inputing the first few words.
I have the same problem. I cannot make any new files. When I used to press file New came up. Now a lot of other things come up but not the opportunity to make a new file. I cannot believe that what used to be a simple operation now seems impossible. Surely this should be a basic thing?
Perhaps a simple screenshot will help you not to list this “lot of things”. When Office starts, do you see a “Create” section on the start screen?
