How to delete a page from a document

have incorrectly added new pages to a document. how do i delete them?

Click the Toggle Formatting Characters icon ( Ctrl+F10 ) on the Standard toolbar.
Depending on how you created the additional pages, you will see different control characters.
Put the curser at the end of your text.
Scroll all the way down to the last page.
Shift+click to select the “empty” area.
Now press the Del key.

The procedure described by @Hrbrgr becomes obvious when you consider pages don’t exist per se in Writer. Pages are automatically allocated to accommodate text. Consequently you must delete text to decrease the need for pages.

One common cause for extra pages is the presence of empty paragraphs. This is why it is highly recommended to work with View>Formatting Marks enabled. The clues never print, so you can leave this setting always enabled. With “empty” blocks become evident.

Maybe the empty pages are in the middle of text.

Please note that Ctrl + Enter starts a new page, you may accidentally have inserted a few page breaks instead of paragraph breaks.
