Had an excel file sent to me for revisions. When I click on the cell, I can see the comment (Title and text, I think it was created using Excel DATA tab) but I cannot find a way to edit it. Does Calc allow editing of Excel’s cell comments?
I now realized that there is a difference between adding a comment to a cell and the DATA VALIDITY with the INPUT HELP field. Needed to dig deeper. Thanks for the reply.
Right click on cell and select Edit comment from the context menu.
Note. When you receive a document by email, save it to a folder and open that document. It might help protect you from any idiosyncrasies of your email program/security settings
Recommend closing. Needed to use DATA VALIDITY instead of COMMENT.
