Am using Writer 7.5.4.2 and finally figured out how to get a different chapter for each chapter. However in doing so, the program also inserts the word Chapter and the number in English. i’m trying to do this in Spanish, so i wind up with the name of the chapter “Chapter 1” followed by “Capítulo 1”.
What do i need to change to fix this? Have a beautiful day out there and be happy! 
Probably a problem of chapter numbering and/or list numbering? The description of the problem is too poor imho.
How did you figure out? What did you configure?
Usually this automation is controlled by Tools>Heading Numbering, but also by the language set in Tools>Options, Languages & Locales>General (24.2.x wording, slightly different in 7.5.x).
And don’t mess by adding list numbering.
