How to fit column contents to page size?

Hi!

I’m not quite sure how to describe what I’m looking for, but I’ll give it a go!

I have a spreadsheet that I want to fit onto one page, but without scaling the size! I only want the columns to be spread evenly across the page.

If, for instance, I want one column to be bigger, then I want the column sizes of the rest of the columns to become smaller so that, when printed, the spreadsheet fits onto one page (width-wise).

I did this in Excel no problem a while ago, but I can’t remember what I did.

How can I, in Calc, get the Columns to auto-size to fit one page, without scaling the contents (e.g. not scaling the text, image, and chart size etc.)?

IIUC this is still a scaling method that would scale “the text, image, and chart size etc.” - that OP wanted to avoid. I am afraid we’d still need a description of how to do that in Excel to know if there is an alternative in Calc…

Mike is correct, that’s not what I’m looking for.
