how to get a submit button to work with android and iphone?

I have a submit button using mailto: on a fillable pdf. It works fine on a desktop computer but doesn’t open the email client on iPhone or android. How do I correct this?

Does this question has something with LibreOffice? You used the Writer tag, but what does it have with this?
