How to get remove an old save document that keep popping up everytime I go to write a new doc

Hello … my problem with LibreOffice is as follow:
everytime I want to write a new document on a fresh page, I get the same older document that I save had saved and paste … therefore, everytime I want to write a new document, I must cut/delete this document… what to do to solve this problem…

Please edit your question to give more details. First, OS name and LO version.
Is your “popping” document based on a template? To tell, File>Properties, General tab, Template line.
Incidentally, save format: odt or doc(x)?

How are you attempting to open and write a new document?

For example: Are you going to File>New>Text Document?

My initial guess is, you saved that document as template and made it the default template.

Thanks …after 3 months I accidently came arcoss the problem… some I did make the document a temple plate…
