I click on ‘Tools’ and then select ‘Bibliography Database’ and nothing happens. I want to switch over to using Linux, but not having a working bibliography manager in the default word processor application is a bummer.
Not sure, have you installed the Base component of the suite?
No I don’t have LibreOffice Base. Why would I need it if I just want to have a bibliography on my ‘Writer’ document?

I installed LibreOffice Base and now the Bibliography Database works. Thanks Astur. Sorry I don’t know how to accept your answer.
