How to get the row numbers of duplicate values from a column

Yes its the kind of solution you was asking … but its far away from the thing which you need at the end!

As the title of my questions says, I was looking to get the ROW numbers of DUPLICATE values from a column. I considered it to be a simple question with a simple example in the hope for a simple answer.

You had asked about the usecase, which is fine as I understand that context matters, so I expanded on the details for you as everyone sees problems differently and takes a different approach. Your original post utilising SMALL was a good suggestion and while it did just fell short of what I was looking for. It did make me aware of SMALL and that in turn has its own value.

Thank you for your contribution.

And now you’ll start to extend this simple Formula to include some Quantity ?
Good Luck! ROFL

In short, Yes. As not only does that formula allow me to retrieve the row numbers that I sought after but also enabled me to easily include additional columns if needed providing additional versatility. Having the Row numbers means HLOOKUP can look up the contents of any other columns along that row on the actual sheet. This allow me to use any number of holding columns to suit any particular task that I can then query to suit as needed.

I wait with great interest for your solutions!
