How to increase the thickness of the highlight line on a selected Calc cell?

There have been a number of changes to the selection highlighting of a cell. Have you got a recent version of LibreOffice? What version? What operating system?

Have you tried enabling View - Column/Row highlighting? Available from version 24.2

Bug tdf#158891 was fixed for 24.8

The version of LibreOffice is 25.2.2.2

Thank you for your reply. This is not what is wanted.

What is wanted if possible is to increase the thickness of the highlighted lines around the selected cell in the Calc spreadsheet.

Many thanks: Gary

I do not know of a way to change the thickness of the lines.

You can change the colour of the highlight border (and also the row and column labels) in Tools > Options > Appearance > Customizations > Calc Cell focus as long as the LibreOffice Theme is not Automatic.

From 24.8 there is also New option to denote with background color if the active cell is in Edit Mode (Tools â–¸ Options â–¸ LibreOffice Calc â–¸ View â–¸ Edit Cell Highlighting). (Sahil Gautam) tdf#63374
