If I insert
A'B'C'
into the formula editor, I get a space after each of the letters, which sometimes look ugly. Is it possible to add the prime symbol without the preceding spacing? This applies to both apostrophe and U+2032

You can use the command nospace
. That removes the space, but there exists no kerning in Math, so nearer as 0 space it not possible. You can insert an additional space between A’ und B’ using the accent `
.
