There is a package Report builder for LO. Installation went well. But extension can’t be seen in Extensions and It’s not in use.
There’s a launchpad (Ubuntu) bug related to Report Builder. Did you try to use the PPA as proposed (see comments #15, #17 and #18)?

Do you still have issues with the latest release? If so, please file a bug about this problem, and provide a list of steps including extension installation that can reproduce it. The QA team will be happy to help you track down this issue!

Hey everyone, I have tested all versions of LO on Ubuntu 12.04 and 13.04 and have found that so far only LO 4.0.0.3 works automatically with the report builder without having to tweak it. I know on other versions you can try to fix it but I have had only limited success so I am still using 4.0.0.3 and testing each new version as they come (4.0.2, 4.0.3, and 4.0.4 do not work yet).
