Adding ppa:libreoffice/ppa () leads to having release candidates on our system, which are not stable.
I have also noticed some discrepancies between the packages released by this PPA and the official packages available here for download. For example, the latter installs a long list of libobasis5.1* packages which are not available in the PPA.
Also, this PPA installs old java runtime, 7u95, which has many security flaws.
The latest java release is 8u77…
FYI, “Oracle strongly recommends that all Java SE 8 users upgrade to this release.”
On my system:
javac -version
javac 1.8.0_77
Anyone has another suggestion?
