How to keep my document's format (Font, Font size) when pasting in something

I cut something from a web page and then I want to paste it into my study notes (Libra Writer). I want the paste to convert to Times New Roman 12 when I paste it in. I am a professor that is trying to make study notes for class.

I know I can paste the item in and then highlight it, but converting this was is getting very old.

BTW: I do always CITE the material. I hand student turn in’s back to them with no grade and ask them to cite any referenced material. You got to watch those students.

How do I get my pasted in multiple-texted items to convert to my Times New Roman 12?

Thanks in advance for your help. I know this should not be that hard but “dang” if I can find the fix!

@scottdp3, If your document text already is in Times New Roman 12, use Ctrl+Alt+Shift+V (same that menu Edit - Paste special - Paste Unformatted Text).

If the text in your document is not in Times New Roman 12, and you want the pasted text to be in Times New Roman 12, before pasting, select Times New Roman 12 and paste it as indicated above.

Also, you can create a new Paragraph Style, some Help here.

Tested with LibreOffice 6.4.7.2 (x86); OS: Windows 6.1.
