How do I link cells?
I am looking for a cell to link to a similar cell on another sheet but in the same spreadsheet. Thanks for your help.
Create a new spreadsheet file with 2 sheets, in cell A1 in Sheet2 enter a number, e.g. 5 .
In Sheet1, cell A1 enter = then click on the tab for Sheet2 and click on cell A1, then press Enter key. You will see in the address bar the formula =$Sheet2.A1 and in Sheet1, cell A1 a 5
So you see there are two ways now, using the mouse or you could just enter an equals sign and the position of the cell you want to link to, the formula =$Sheet2.A1
