I have an ods file, which has an external link file sheet, I did condition format on some cell ranges. however, whenever I update the link file, these pre-set conditional format will disappear, Is there a solution for this
What is the file format of the source of the link? I ask, because for a csv file, I see this loss of formatting with Sheet > External Links, but not with Data > Data Provider.

The source link is xlsx file. Eventually I create macro command to execute the pre-conditional format in the final destined ods file
