In LibreOffice Writer, every time when I select (highlight) a part of the text - either for deleting or cutting -
a comment-box appears over the cursor: “Inserted: … [author] [date]”. How to make that comment invisible?
Hi
You have probably enabled revision mode: Edit
▸Track Changes
▸Record
.
Regards
Hi Pierre,
Thank you for your answer. I checked what you suggested and tried to enable/disable revision mode, but it does not make any difference. And to add a correction: even when I don’t select any text, just move the cursor around, the comment-box is dragged along with the cursor. It really disturbs the writing process … If you have more ideas how to fix it, please let me know. Thank you!
@LibreUserM you have to run Edit
▸Track Changes
▸Manage
to accep/reject revisions previously recorded… You can run Edit
▸Track Changes
▸Show
first to see them.
Thanks a lot for your advice, Pierre! I just did as you said and it solved the problem
