I am on a PC using the latest versions of Windows Vista and Mozilla Firefox. I have downloaded a .doc file and am unable to open it with an program I currently have on my computer. I can now only locate the file in my download library. If I use LibreOffice, will I be able to open and print this file? I have no idea why this forum is telling me to use common as a tag.
Yes, LO handles .doc files.
I think it required Common because you didn’t select the particular application, in this case Writer.
