How to properly define the Print area in Spreadsheet

Hi,

I have a spreadsheet as attached.Untitled 1.ods

Now I want to print the first sheet in A4 paper. However is it possible to define and view the print area in the spreadsheet that fits my A4 page?

For example, I want to see which area in my sheet will go to the Page number 01, which area will go to Page number 02 etc. so that I can put different background to those respective portions of my sheet

When I see the print-preview I can’t preview such page information. All I see the first cell as attached.Screenshot 2021-06-05 at 12.17.15 AM.png

Use the settings for Page and printer setup in Calc.

The print range is defined to $BH$28:$BI$28 so that’s exactly the two cells you see in the print preview. Define the range to what you actually want. Or remove it entirely to print everything and zoom to fit cells on paper. Or you define in the Page Style’s Sheet options to fit print ranges(s) on a specific number of pages, which calculates the zoom factor. You can then specify in the print dialog which pages you want to print.

Thanks. How can I optimally create a selection so that I achieve normal view in A4 paper?

Erm… what is a “normal view” for you?
