How to publish an extension

I am trying to publish an extension. I filled the form for a new extension and uploaded a version.

In the HowTo is written:
Note that after you hit publish, the request will be handled by a moderator.
I don’t see a publish button on that page. How can I trigger a review by a moderator?

Hello psr,

you’re correct: there’s no such thing as a “Publish” button. It should read “Save”.

As specified in the how-to, the validation is processed by a moderator. Note that s-he might also have a lot to do on his/her plate. This means that, depending upon his/her constraints, the process might take a little while.

Hi jfn,
thank you for your answer.

Of course we might need to wait a little until the validation can take place.

But how can I change the status of my extension from ‘draft’ to something like ‘in review’? Or how does a reviewer know, when to start to review an extension I am publishing?

The extension remains in “Draft” state until it is actually published.
I have opened a ticket a while ago, stating that “Draft” is misleading.

The extension is in “publishable” state if the .oxt file is present.

Ah ok,
thank you for the clarification.
So I just wait, thx
