How to remove border from inserted gif into writer (5.0.2.2)

Hi,

I have inserted a gif of my signature onto a document which I need to send and am unable to remove the border around it. I can go into image settings and remove the border or try to change colour but the border stays. I then go back into the settings and it looks like the settings are not being saved.

I have tried creating a new document (odt) and am still getting the same problem. Any advice?

Right-click on the image and choose ‘Crop image’. Now you can drag the red cubes on the corners to change what parts of the image are visible.
