How to reproduce using UNO the client fonctionality Insert>Object>OLE Object>Create from file

Hello,

I am generating writer documents automatically and i am inserting an OLE object into the document without problem.

I have not been able to find with UNO interface, how to create the OLE object from an existing document (in my case a draw object). My draw object is a heatmap that i need to insert many times.

As anybody done such things? Appreciate if somebody can share some code (any language).

This is certainly not a complete answer but it may help with direction. Have code which inserts and OLE link to spreadsheet into Writer. Please see my answer in this post → Create macro to insert and link a OLE Spreadsheet?
