I am using a .xls format file and have been trying put simple validation on currency column and when i close and reopen the file ,the changes are lost.
Please help if this is a bug or how to do it.
If you are using Data, Validity… for the validation and saving as an xls file then you need to be carefull that you are only using data validity options that are available in Excel for an xls file.
If you could give more details of the validation you are trying to perform then I can test with Calc and Excel 2010 and perhaps give an alternate method.
Hi i want to save data validation for various fileds but
- I cant save in xls format which is mandatory for me
- I cant apply data validation for whole columns
pls help me
