How to select axis values?

Hi

I will try to explain it. I have two columns with data, the first column contains the data I am interested in, the second has the time in hours associated.

When I make column chart the problem is that if I select both columns the graph shows both as if they were data, but I want the second column not to be displayed graphically, I want that data to be on the x axis, just to know when the data on the Y axis happened.

Imagine that you have hourly data from several days, I want the x axis to show 0, 1, 2… 23, 0, 1, 2… 23 repeatedly, but know I get 0,1,2,3,4…145,146,147 and that is not what I want.

I hope you underestand, if not let me know and I will try to explain it better.

Select our data > create chart as it comes up > click on your chart > Edit (you must then have a dark gray frame with little black handles) > right click >select Data Ranges

Here you can select and specify whatever you need. Note: “Category” means the x-axis.

LibO is very flexible and simple here. Have fun.
