How to separate lines within a table?

I’m trying to put together a table for a document, and I want to be able to adjust the lines without adjusting the whole row. Is there a way to “separate” the horizontal lines within the table so that that I can move them in different columns without adjusting them in every column?

Image: Moving the first horizontal line in the right column, which moves the horizontal line in the left column as well- something I do not want.

Windows 10, LibreOffice Writer 7.6.4

Your screenshot is not self-explanatory enough. Please replace it with some contents in the table (letters or numbers) so that we can correlate the first image with the second. Also, enable View>Formatting Marks. Don’t forget to mention OS name, LO version and save format.

Improve the description of your goal, perhaps with real contents in the table to illustrate your purpose.

I am unsure if “bumping” is allowed on this forum, but this issue is still unresolved. I’ve done the edits that were asked of me and just desire a solution.

Red triangle in a cell means you have more text than can fit in the cell. This happens only when you explicitly force tow size to some fixed height. By default, rows are “dynamic”: their size automatically adjust to cell contents.

To fix the problem, re-set row height to automatic.

In case you require fixed row height, arrange for your text not to overflow.

Create a section with two columns, and insert one table in each column.

Maybe you want to untick Allow table to split across pages and columns (Table Properties).
